Product Overview
AFBR-S10PS010Z is an optical point sensor with self-supervision functionality. The light that meets the point sensor is captured and fed into a plastic optical fibre (POF). The self-supervision functionality is achieved by an in-built coupling between two fibres. It is used in applications such as arc flash event detection, light detection.
- Light capturing through the translucent head of the point sensor
- Optical link self-supervision supported (heartbeat signal)
- UL flammability UL94HB, good chemical resistance
- Acceptance cone exceeds 180° spherical with high homogeneity
- Suitable for 1.0/2.2-mm diameter duplex plastic optical fibre (POF)
- Insertion loss is 13dB typical
- Operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
