Product Overview
PHAT-GSM is a 2G quad-band GSM/GPRS module for SMS and data communication over the mobile phone network. Specifically designed for the Raspberry-Pi Zero the pHAT-GSM features I2C communication to leave the Raspberry-Pi UART for other functions eg. sensors etc. pHAT-GSM features full AT command control over the embedded I2C to UART bridge allowing the Raspberry-Pi to create GPRS sessions and send/receive SMS texts.

- Compact quad-band GSM solution for worldwide use
- GPRS multi-slot class 12 data transfer at 85.6kbps supporting embedded Internet service protocols
- Text and PDU mode Small-Message-System (SMS) support
- Standard 3GPP TX 27.00x AT command set with extended commands for power saving modes
- Manual power on/off button or IO controlled power on/off for embedded applications
- U.FL PCB antenna supplied as standard
