Product Overview
BTS70401EPAXUMA1 is a PROFET™ +2 12V smart high-side power switch. It provides protection functions and diagnosis. This device is integrated into SMART7 technology. It is used in applications such as resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads, replaces electromechanical relays, fuses, and discrete circuits, driving capability suitable for 4.5A loads and high inrush current loads such as P27W + R5W lamps or equivalent electronic loads (e.g. LED modules).
- High-side switch with diagnosis and embedded protection, undervoltage shutdown
- Reverse ON for low power dissipation in reverse polarity, AEC-Q100 grade 1
- Switch ON capability while inverse current condition (inverse ON)
- Absolute and dynamic temperature limitation with controlled restart
- Overcurrent protection (tripping) with intelligent restart control
- Proportional load current sense, open load in ON and OFF state
- Short circuit to ground and battery, nominal load current is 4.5A typical
- Supply voltage range for normal operation is 13.5V typical
- ON-state resistance is 36mohm maximum at (TJ = 150°C, IL = 2A)
- Junction temperature range from -40°C to 150°C, TSDSO-14 package
