We constantly review our prices to ensure our customers get the very best value. We offer tiered pricing on most items. The more you buy, the more you save.

Some prices are valid for a limited period. These are clearly marked with icons that help you understand why we've reduced our prices.

If you're planning to purchase a large quantity, to get our lowest price please use our online form to request a quote with a target price.

Price Icons

Below is a list of the icons used for indicating special prices

  •   Contract Price: This is a specific item that is offered on contract usually due to increased volume purchases.
  •   Promotional Price: Special pricing offers that are made available from time to time.
  •   Web Only Price: Price that is available when purchased on the web only.
  •   Web Only Contract price: Price available to your contract when purchased via the web only.
  •    Quoted Price: Price extended as part of a custom eQuote
  •   Bundled Price: All items in a quote that must be purchased together to qualify for the pricing offered.

Stock Availability and Lead Times

Farnell stocks hundreds of thousands of products ready for same-day delivery.

Stock information is displayed on our website direct from our distribution centres. Our site displays real-time stock levels, so you can purchase with confidence.

NOTE:
  • All products showing in stock are generally available for same-day despatch. You may place and order for a quantity that exceeds the available stocked product, the excess quantity will be placed on backorder and delivered to you as soon as we receive stock.
  • Stock for Non-Vat customers is despatched from our UK warehouse only. Delivery of your order could be delayed if your order exceeds the available UK stock level

Availability and Lead Time Information

The following is an overview of the various messages that may appear for products to indicate availability for in and out of stock items and lead times for items not in stock at the moment:

  • ### in stock for same day despatch
    These items are in stock and can be despatched the same day if ordered before the cut-off time.
  • 0 in stock or awaiting delivery
    These items are on order and should arrive soon. Click the "Check more stock" to see the next available date.
  • Coming soon
    This product is not in stock; however you may place a pre-order by clicking the “Buy” button or register interest by clicking the link to receive notifications.
  • No longer stocked
    This item is no longer stocked. Please refer to substitute and alternative products offered.
  • No longer manufactured
    These are obsolete/discontinued items. Please refer to substitute and alternative products offered.
  • Available until stock exhausted
    These items are in limited supply. Once the last item has been ordered, they will no longer be available for same day despatch.
  • Supplier direct ship
    This item is available within the time shown, up to the quantity displayed. Additional quantities may take longer to deliver - please contact us for further details.
  • Not normally stocked
    Products not normally stocked will be despatched according to the lead time displayed. Products not normally stocked but showing available inventory can be despatched the same day up to the quantity displayed
  • Lead times are not currently available
    Where lead times are unavailable please contact us for further details.

Q: How do the search filters work?
A:Check the box to filter by selected parameters then click “Apply”.

For parametric filters, the available filters will automatically update with each selection, however you still need to click “Apply” to see the updated product list that matches your filter selection.


You can disable the automatic update by unchecking the “Auto Apply filters” check box above the parametric boxes.

Q:How do I select or search by product attributes?
A: Simply type the product attributes alongside the product you need in the search box. For example, if you're searching for a capacitor with a capacitance of 100pF, type “100pF capacitor” into the search box and click “Search”.

The search results will then return all products relevant to the words you have typed in. Other product attributes can then be selected to narrow your results further.
Q:What does Exclude Extended Range Items mean?
A:Extended Range Items are items that ship from our Newark warehouse located in the US. Items delivered from the US will arrive within 2-3 working days. There may be a one time additional delivery charge which will be displayed in your basket. Ticking the box will exclude these items from appearing in your search results.
Q:How do I compare products?
A: On the search results page, you can select products for a side-by-side comparison to help aid your decision making. Simply use the “tick boxes” to check the products you want to compare and then click “Compare”.

You can also select products for comparison from different search results screens by following these steps:
  • Select your first order code or series of order codes on the first results page
  • Click “Compare”
  • On the compare screen, click the browser back button to go back to the previous results page
  • Go to your second page of results
  • Select the order code or series of order codes
  • Click “Compare”
  • These order codes will be added to the “Compare” screen for easy side-by-side comparison.
